Each team comes with a couple of coin-shaped counters with the team logo stamped on them.Īnd then we have a couple of balls. Of course we need a full-team group shot but that will have to wait because we have a few other things to look at first. Gathered together with their mates from a couple of weeks ago, we have the goblin half of the team (joining the Orc half which I painted – appropriately – back in Orctober). I do like this lad’s headgear, very stylish indeed sir! Let’s see how well that holds up when a chaos warrior is thundering down towards him… This one seems to think he’s a bit tough. The team had reached the stage where although there were still several models to paint they were all fairy small, nothing I couldn’t handle before we reach 2022 right?įirst things first we have the three remaining goblins that complete the squad of players able to take to the pitch. With the end of the year looming I decided to finish off my Black Orc Blood Bowl team (minus the troll – for crying out loud will you stop going on and on about that bloody troll!). Your brawler is handy, but block reigns supreme.Right you horrible lot! Did you over-indulge at Christmas? Good!Īs it happens I’ve been a busy boy. They can have blodgers right out of the gate and that's a big deal. Lastly, Amazons in Sevens is a better team than Black Orcs mainly because of the starting skills. Rerolls are hard to come by, but those green little fuckers have one built in. Outside of a dwarf team with lots of tackle, embrace the mayhem that is stunty. I also think if you feel like you're not taking advantage of the goblins stunty dodges then you're probably right. Black Orcs hit shit and protect the goblin with the ball. You mentioned set ups and with Sevens you don't get those free hits like in Elevens. Plus one turns are always a threat and I really like projectile vomit in a pinch. Four 4ST is super good, but not good enough sadly. You have 4MA so you're gonna hit and crawl up the field. I ran Black Orcs without the troll and found myself really lacking. I think your build is the best, personally. You don't get the rerolls you potentially need, you don't get the skills you really need, and you don't get the inducements like bribes you can strongly benefit from. My obligatory plug for the growing and relatively unknown /r/bloodbowlsevens community aside.īlack Orcs, I've found, is weird in Sevens. They're hardier than normal goblins, but not by much. Likewise, be sure to keep your goblins away from getting hit as much as possible. Then again, with 7s it can be trickier to get assists. Perhaps see if you can get an extra goblin on the team, try to do some fouling with them? Things will be a lot easier if you can remove a player or two. Caging up and protecting the ball is probably your best bet, though that's a little tricky playing 7s, and with a somewhat unreliable troll on your hands (And throw teammate is always going to be a long shot unless you've got a bunch of rerolls and luck, which you may not with 7s). They are good in the Strength department, but their low speed is a real problem. That said, Black Orcs are going to be a challenging team to succeed with. Read all of the related reddits at once = Other GW Gamesīringing back the Specialist Games vibe, slowly:Īmazons are a very difficult team to beat at low team value because most teams lack the counter skills like block and tackle they need to deal with them very much true for Black Orcs.
